Language Mentoring Program

posted May 4, 2016, 7:26 AM by Anna Gelinas
I'm excited to announce that a new program has been established with the high school, namely, the LHS Language Mentoring Program. Based on the Music Mentoring Program, the Language Mentoring Program is meant to offer middle school students free tutoring sessions in languages, where middle school students will be matched with high school tutors.
Students at Williams Middle School can use these tutoring sessions to receive free homework help and to study for tests; in addition, they can even use these sessions as a way to go more in-depth into their prospective languages.
At the moment, a meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 9th. The meeting will take place at 3:00 in the Williams Middle School cafeteria. There, interested middle school students will be matched with their high school tutors, and from then on can freely schedule their sessions to match their individual needs.
Attached is a google form: if you wish to sign up, please fill out the form and submit it by Sunday, May 8th. Alternatively, you may stop by after school for the orientation meeting.
